Share your approximate dates, available days, number of travellers and a few interests. Say if you are still choosing destinations or need help balancing sightseeing and free time.
A classic introduction might connect Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. A shorter visit can focus on one area; a family trip may benefit from fewer moves. Sample routes are planning ideas, with availability and services confirmed in a quotation.
Before you travel, confirm your arrival airport and terminal, the meeting point, the name displayed by the person meeting you and a contact method that works on arrival. Ask how flight delays, waiting time and missed connections will be handled.
Choose the places that matter most, then check the time needed for road, rail or flight connections. A route with fewer hotel changes may be more comfortable for a family or for travellers who prefer a slower pace.
Tell your contact about dietary preferences and the practical arrangements you need. Discuss menus, included meals, free-choice meals and how requirements will be communicated to restaurants. Confirm what can be arranged in writing.
Share children’s ages, room preferences and the pace that works for your group. Discuss breaks, early starts, walking distances and free time. Vehicle, room and attraction arrangements should be confirmed for the people actually travelling.
Describe practical mobility or access needs and ask for specific information about steps, lifts, surfaces, toilets and vehicle access. The name of a destination or a general comfort rating is not enough to establish that an activity is suitable.
Confirm a primary and backup contact method for travel days. Before departure, discuss mobile connectivity, access to the services you rely on, and the practical payment methods your itinerary needs. Test your chosen contact method and retain an offline copy of key arrangements.
Check the entry documents and conditions that apply to your nationality, passport, departure point and intended route before making non-refundable arrangements. Requirements can change.
